"I have been a loyal State Farm customer for 47 years—since I got my driver’s license at 16. In all that time, I have never collected on an insurance claim and have always paid my homeowners and auto insurance premiums on time.

After a hailstorm in 2022, I called with questions about my coverage but did not file a claim. After another hailstorm in 2024, I did file a claim. State Farm informed me that my roof was “too old” to be covered. I asked several times to speak with Dick Allan, only to be told he rarely came in. Later, I discovered he is no longer even the agent on the account, and I have never once received a call from the current agent.

Instead, I only heard from an office staff member, who informed me that my homeowners policy would be dropped in September but could not explain why. After multiple follow-up calls, I was eventually told it was because I had filed two claims—when in reality, I had only filed one and never received any payout.

After nearly five decades of loyalty, I am extremely disappointed with State Farm’s lack of communication, customer service, and fairness. This is not how long-term, reliable clients should be treated."

"I've always had great service with state farm. Even long before I used them for my insurance. I was rear ended by someone 19 years ago. When I contacted them about damage to my vehicle I was told to go to one of their adjustment centers to have my vehicle looked at two days after the accident. After they inspected my truck they wrote me a check for the damages on the spot. Now I've had insurance with them for the last 8 years because they had the lowest price I could find. Over the last 8 years the price has gone down more and more while the price of everything else continues to rise."
